Ashford Car Keys is a mobile auto locksmith service covering Tenterden, Ashford and the surrounding towns. We work in association with A Star Locksmiths, who act as our partner locksmith on some jobs.

When you use our online quote form or contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we collect the details you give us: your name, callback number, optional email address, vehicle make, model and year, the location of the vehicle, the service you need and any notes you add.

We do not ask for payment card details through this website.

We use your details to call you back, quote your job, attend your vehicle, supply and program keys, and keep a record of the work carried out, including warranty cover on keys we supply.

Because we operate in association with A Star Locksmiths, your enquiry may be passed to them where they are the nearest available technician, where a job needs specialist equipment they hold, or where they cover a callback or warranty visit on our behalf.

When that happens we share only what is needed to complete the job: your name, contact number, vehicle details, location and the service requested. A Star Locksmiths use those details to attend and complete your job, and are expected to keep them confidential and to use them for no other purpose.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to A Star Locksmiths or anyone else for marketing.

We also use service providers that host this website and store enquiry records on our behalf. Where key or immobiliser data must be requested for your vehicle, we may need to confirm details with the relevant vehicle or key-data provider before we can cut and program a key.

For security reasons we ask for proof that you are entitled to keys for the vehicle, such as your ID and the vehicle documents. We record that a check was made as part of the job record.

We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to service warranty claims and to meet our business and legal record-keeping needs, then remove them.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need to keep it. You can also ask us not to pass your enquiry to A Star Locksmiths, although this may mean we cannot attend as quickly.
